electric shocks

Hi. I have a VPCSESC5E and recently I been getting small electric shocks from the casing. Small, but quite sharp and noticeable enough to be distracting when working. Right now I am in Nepal, and I did not notice it when I was in the UK. Could it be static, induced by the weather? Or is it an internal problem? The shocks only occur when plugged in, not on batttery power.

I ordered a S series Vaio configured to my specs, but did it through the local Sony Store. The procedure was the same. The sales assistant did the whole thing online. He said two weeks, and hey presto, it arrived right on time.

Well, I have bought two, so I must be doubly stupid! They are good machines. Best to buy from a Sony Store, then you can always complain to them. In the US they are competing with Mac Books, so maybe they need to be more competitive. But i don't really know.

S Series sound quality

I have the 15" s series (vpcse) I knew the sound quality was going to be bad before I bought it. All the reviews say so. But thought the other qualities would outweigh that, which they do. However, is there anything you can do about that tinny sound? Apart from using speakers of course. Thanks
