Sony is offering a system Firmware update for 4K Portable Memory Recorder “AXS-R7”.

The combination of the Firmware for the VENICE and the firmware for the AXS-R7 must be set.

4K Portable Memory Recorder “AXS-R7”

[Applicable Firmware version]
Firmware Ver. 5.00 or earlier
After updating, the system firmware version will be “Ver.6.00”

[Applicable combination firmware version]
The applicable combination firmware of VENICE is “Ver.6.00”or later.

[Precautions when updating]
To update to V6.0, use one of the following methods.
Follow the steps described in the update guide (4-736-142-11(1)).
Attach the unit to the MPC-3610 (VENICE/CineAltaV) Ver.6.00 or later.
For details, refer to the operating instructions for the MPC-3610 (VENICE/CineAltaV).

 5.7K 16:9 imager mode
X-OCN recording at up to 72 FPS
 4K 6.5 imager mode
X-OCN recording at up to 72 FPS
 3.8K 16:9 imager mode
X-OCN recording at up to 110 FPS
A High Frame Rate license (CBKZ-3610H/3610HM/3610HW) is required for high frame rate shooting.
